David Alexander, CPA, MST, PFS, CFP®
Founder, Financial Advisor

David is the founder and principal of Alexander Advisors, LLC. He has provided tax, business consulting and wealth management services to a diverse group of clients for over 30 years.

In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Dave is a Certified Financial Planner® Professional and has attained Series 7 and Series 66 Securities Broker Licenses. He is also a Licensed Insurance Agent.

Dave is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Dave lives in Groton, Massachusetts with his wife Lucy and two children. He is active in several community activities and boards.

Debra Chase, EA
Tax Manager

Debra Chase has been a member of our staff since 1989, and has acquired significant practical knowledge and experience from varied client assignments over the past 28 years.
Deb’s responsibilities include managing the preparation of tax returns for the firm, as well as preparation of complex individual returns, business returns and tax planning. She handles tax compliance issues dealing directly with the Internal Revenue Service and various state tax departments. She is an Enrolled Agent licensed with the Internal Revenue Service.

In addition to providing quality client service, she values time spent with her husband, daughters and grandsons.


Arthur P. Bergeron, CPA, MST
Accounting & Tax Consultant

Arthur Bergeron has been providing the highest level of accounting and planning services to clients for over 25 years. He earned both Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Taxation degrees from Bentley University, and is a Certified Public Account licensed with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He has also served as adjunct assistant instructor of accounting at both Newbury College and Bentley University.

Art works with a broad range of individuals, organizations and businesses. Clients benefit from his extensive experience and knowledge in all tax related services including retirement, estate and trust planning, as well as tax preparation, financial reviews and working directly with tax authorities resolving tax matters.


Sandra Piper
Tax Professional

Sandra Piper is a tax professional who works with our corporate and individual clients providing tax and accounting services.

Sandy joined our firm in 2017 and has over 20 years of bookkeeping and tax preparation experience.  She has worked extensively with clients QuickBooks accounting software and helps with yearend review and planning.

Her former experience in the professional management industry and as a QuickBooks Pro-Advisor allows her to share her organization and bookkeeping skills.  She feels that helping people in these areas enhances the client relationship.

Sandy is a lifelong Massachusetts resident and is a Notary Public.  She is an active volunteer in the community and has helped with bookkeeping services for our local food pantry for over 10 years.


Lou Kidney
Associate Accountant

Lucia (Lou) Kidney has over 25 years experience working in finance and bookkeeping. During tax season, Lou is with us full time and part-time the rest of the year. Her responsibilities include tax preparation, bookkeeping, QuickBooks support, managing our firm’s electronic filing program and maintaining status reports for all tax returns.

When not working, Lou enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.



Kerry Flaherty Scott
Administrative Assistant

Kerry Flaherty Scott is an integral part of the team. She has an Associate’s Degree from Northern Essex and has over fifteen years of experience working as an administrative assistant in the areas of finance and accounting.


Nancy Gray
Accounting Manager

Nancy joined the firm in 2000, and has been providing business and accounting services to our corporate clients for the past 17 years. Her responsibilities include bookkeeping support, general ledger and financial reviews and other tax-related support services. She has extensive knowledge with QuickBooks™ and other relevant accounting software. Much of her time is spent helping clients manage a variety of business accounting needs.

Nancy is a lifetime Massachusetts resident, where she and her husband have raised their two sons. She has been an active volunteer in school, sports and community organizations. 


Cindy Coupal
Wealth Management Administrator

Cindy joined the firm in 2012. She brings over 30 years of business experience to the practice and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Fitchburg University. She is responsible for the implementation and supervision of all the day to day wealth management operations. These responsibilities include our marketing and branding activities, broker/dealer relationship, internal and external education campaigns, regulatory compliance, internal reporting, information systems and establishment and maintenance of client accounts.

Cindy is a lifelong resident of Massachusetts. She enjoys spending time with her family and is involved with the education ministries of her church.


Deborah Williams, EA
Tax Professional

Deborah Williams joined our firm in 2010. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bentley University. Deb is an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service and a Massachusetts Notary Public.

Her responsibilities include working with our clients in preparation of their individual returns, as well as educating them on various tax compliance issues. She manages the firm’s electronic filing program, and helps our clients understand and resolve various tax notice issues.

When not working, Deb enjoys spending time with her family. She is an active volunteer in her church and the community, where she has held various board positions including treasurer.




Shelby Morris
Office Manager

Shelby Morris joined our firm in 2003, while earning her Associates degree at Middlesex Community College. She has over 10 years of experience with accounting office management and client relations.

Shelby is responsible for managing of office operations including correspondence, client billing, accounts payable, scheduling and inventory management. She supports management and staff in client relations and tax return processing. Shelby’s office management skills provide the highest quality of client support.
